Born 1976 in Kagawa,Japan. Graduated from Osaka University of Arts in 1999 and established his studio in Osaka in 2002,now based in Kobe and Arles,France. His interdisciplinary practice spans products,interiors,textiles and brand art direction. Appointed creative director of Karimoku New Standard,art-directing collections for the traditional Japanese furniture maker. Works for Kvadrat,1616/Arita Japan and Offecct,in the permanent collections of the Stedelijk Museum and Paris's national fine-arts centre.
