Born 1981 in New Zealand,largely self-taught after studying graphic design at Wanganui School of Design. Founded Klim Type Foundry in Wellington in 2005. His meticulously crafted typefaces engage deeply with typographic history: Feijoa and National (2007,TDC Certificate of Excellence),Founders Grotesk (2009),Tiempos (2010) and Domaine. Apple licensed Founders Grotesk and Domaine Display for its devices. Collaborated with Erik Spiekermann and Christian Schwartz on FF Meta Serif and FF Unit Slab. AGI member 2013.
