American designer trained as an architect in Los Angeles. In 2002 she co-founded the London studio Industrial Facility with Sam Hecht,building one of the most progressive practices in product,furniture and exhibition design. Their quiet,super-normal aesthetic shaped products for MUJI,Herman Miller,Mattiazzi,Emeco and Yamaha. Work is held by MoMA,Cooper Hewitt,Centre Pompidou and the V&A. Appointed Royal Designer for Industry in 2015 and named Monocle Designers of the Year in 2022.
