Pioneered molded plywood furniture (LCW chair 1946), fiberglass shells (DSW chair 1950), the Eames Lounge Chair (1956). Beyond furniture: Case Study House #8, films like 'Powers of Ten' (1977), exhibitions for IBM. The most influential American design partnership of the 20th century. Their work continues at Herman Miller and Vitra.
